Travel to Telford
Telford couldn’t be better set up for exhibitions in terms of accessibility and parking. Road access is very easy, parking at the Centre is free to all Slide visitors in 2011 and train services are excellent, with a 50 minute transfer by train from Birmingham airport. The train station is a short bus ride from the show and a free shuttle runs from the station to Slide every 15 minutes. There are also 2 hotels right on site at the Telford International Centre, offering preferential rates for Slide.

Full details on hotels, travel and up to date exhibitor listings are on the Slide website at www.slideuk.co.uk

Slide Awards
Exhibiting brands are entering their top products into the Slide Awards that celebrate the very best new products in 3 categories: hardware, software and accessories. The finalists will be on display throughout the duration of the show, with specialist snowsport retailers and industry experts voting on the outcome.

Social Side to Slide
No tradeshow would be complete without something of a social gathering and Slide is no different in this respect. Details are yet to be announced.

The trade association that owns and runs Slide, the SIGB (Snowsport Industries of Great Britain) will be holding its AGM on Monday after the show. The formalities of the AGM will be followed by an Open Forum meeting, to which everyone is welcome (members and non-members) to discuss any issues pertinent to the industry.
