Like all major cities, the centre of Manchester can become very congested with traffic, so give yourself plenty of time to arrive for your first appointment. Fortunately, Manchester is blessed with very good air, rail and road connections.

The main railway station is Manchester Piccadilly.
This is a 5 minute taxi-ride from Manchester Central.
Even closer are Deansgate and Oxford Road stations which are within easy walking distance.

Manchester Central is right in the City Centre of Manchester. Follow the appropriate directions below for a straightforward arrival at the show.

The following directions lead you to the central Manchester Central Car Park at the top of the ramp.

Manchester is at the heart of the Northwest and within easy access from the north, south, east and west onto the M60, the city's orbital motorway.

Once on the M60 exit at juntion 12 and join the M602 signposted towards the city centre. Follow the A57 straight on from the end of the M602 passing under a railway bridge before taking the left hand exit to merge onto the A56 Bridgewater Way.

Turn right onto Whitworth Street West at Deansgate station and then turn left onto Albion Street. The entrance to the Manchester Central Car Park is through the next set of traffic lights on the left, opposite the Bridgewater Hall.

From Manchester Airport

Join the M56 and follow east until it ends, when it becomes Princess Parkway.This road will take you almost to the city centre. As you enter the city on Princess Road, you will pass under the Mancunian Way (A57(M)) on a roundabout. Take the second exit, signposted city centre. Turn right onto Whitworth Street West at Deansgate station and then turn left onto Albion Street. The entrance to the Manchester Central Car Park is through the next set of traffic lights on the left, opposite the Bridgewater Hall.

Manchester Central is located on the southern side of Manchester’s City Centre and is surrounded by extensive local parking.
Within 2–3 minutes walk there are over 3,000 reasonably priced spaces and a further 3,500 are an easy 10 minutes walk from the exhibition centre.
