Slide; the UK trade show aimed at actionsport and streetwear retailers.
All the must-have brands will be showcasing their offering for A/W 2019, along with a rash of upstart brands aiming to take their place out there where it matters, on the snow, in the water, in the parks and on the street.
Slide: 23-25 January 2018
Telford International Centre
Tuesday 23 Jan: 9am-7pm
Wednesday 24 Jan: 9am-7pm
Thursday 25 Jan: 9am-4pm
Travel to Telford
Telford couldn’t be better set up for exhibitions in terms of accessibility and parking. Road access is very easy, parking at the Centre is free to all Slide visitors and train services are excellent, with a 50 minute transfer by train from Birmingham airport. The train station is a short bus ride from the show and a free shuttle runs from the station to Slide every 15 minutes*. There are also 2 hotels right on site at the Telford International Centre, offering preferential rates for Slide.
Exhibiting brands are entering their top products into the Slide Awards that celebrate the very best new products in 3 categories: hardware, software and accessories. The finalists will be on display throughout the duration of the show, with specialist snowsport retailers and industry experts voting on the outcome. In 2018, for the first time, there will be a newcomer award, for the best new brand or company at Slide.
Social Side to Slide
No tradeshow would be complete without something of a social gathering and Slide is no different in this respect. More details to follow as the show approaches.
The trade association that owns and runs Slide, the SIGB (Snowsport Industries of Great Britain) will be holding its AGM on Wednesday after the show. The formalities of the AGM will be followed by an Open Forum meeting, to which everyone is welcome (members and non-members) to discuss any issues pertinent to the industry.
