With snow on the highest Scottish hills and in the Alps, winter has heralded its arrival and the wintersport industry is looking forward with anticipation to the season ahead.

Visitor registration for the UK’s national actionsport trade show, Slide, which takes place from 24-26 January 2017 at The International Centre in Telford, is now live online http://www.slideuk.co.uk/visitor-tickets/. Visitors are urged to prepare now by taking advantage of preferential hotel rates that have been negotiated. Booking info is here: http://www.slideuk.co.uk/hotels/

Almost 80 companies, representing around 200 different brands, have booked up for Slide, to show their products for next winter. Visitors can contact exhibitors to make appointments through the exhibitor listing http://www.slideuk.co.uk/exhibitor-list/

Confirmed exhibitors have filled 90% of the space available at Slide, but there’s still a good choice of stand locations and sizes on offer for exhibitors who want to take advantage of reaching all the key snowsport buyers under one roof.

Booking forms and current floorplans are on the website here: http://www.slideuk.co.uk/exhibitor-booking/ or potential exhibitors can contact Slide organisers direct on slide@raremanagement.co.uk

In addition to the biggest range of wintersport products in the UK, Slide also plays host to the SIGB AGM and Open Forum after the show closes on Wednesday 25th Jan, where all aspects of the trade are up for discussion. The ‘best in show’ Slide Awards are also announced/presented during this gathering, as is the announcement of the SIGB Foundation Award – funding awarded to the most deserving snowsport charity.

The evening of Tuesday 24th January will see a re-match at Ten Pin Telford. While competition is fierce for some, most just enjoy throwing a few bowls, socialising with friends and colleagues and making the most of the low cost drinks and complementary food.
